We are a company located in Matamoros Coahuila, in the north part of Mexico. In 1994, we started in the produce business, and later on we started growing pomegranate, with a clear goal in mind, to produce healthy food with high nutritional value.
The passion for this concept led us to choose pomegranates, a crop that grows mainly in desert areas and hot climates, and is considered a Superfood nowadays.
In 2020, due to the enormous care, great land and favorable climate conditions in our region, we started to see the results of the first crops that had great flavor and sufficient brix degrees, to comply with quality export standards.
We have had formidable experiences with the Wonderful variety since it is one of the favorites in the market and even though it is well known that it is difficult to get trials of the fruit in the first year we had success with it.
The exquisite nature of the pomegranate fruit is contrasted with its difficult way of eating, which led us to find a process to make this delicious food available to the final consumer.
The other challenge we faced was the duration of the product’s shelf life, so we decided to packed arils it with modified atmosphere process in order to guarantee the freshness of the fruit for a longer time.
This concept allowed us to venture into self-service stores, with excellent results, but with a shelf life of no more than 21 days. Participating mainly with Mexican supermarkets.
